JOB SUMMARY:

Deliver product to proper customer by the efficient stacking from conveyor into specified units. Load and unload trailers and railcars. Operate robots.

WORK DEVICES:

Forklift, clipboard, robot, computer.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS:

• Perform all duties in a safe and orderly manner.
• Actively engaged, involved, and current in SBO process; Participate in safety meetings and safety tours.
• Ensure production and distribution of products consistent with established food safety, sanitation and quality standards.
• Stack heavy boxes up high on units in a pre-designated stack pattern.
• Unload, warehouse, and properly document inbound shipments.
• Load and properly document outbound shipments.
• Manage product assignment in robots.
• Help in reconciling inventory problems.
• Notify supervisor and/or group leader of any damage coming down the conveyor.
• Check all areas of forklift described on truck check sheets and report problems to supervisor and/or group leader.
• Operate Powered Industrial Truck (PIT); Operate man lift to heights of 30 feet.
• Operate RF units.
• Fill propane tanks.
• Once qualified, instruct and train other.
• Maintain all work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Fulfill overtime requirements necessary to ensure production and distribution requirements are met.
• Assist in other areas or perform other duties, as assigned.

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to successfully complete written and driving examination required to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) operator license.
• Basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to follow verbal or written instructions.

Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without accommodation. This includes: Walking or standing for extended periods of time, up to 12-hours; Lifting, lowering and carrying to 50 lbs.; Overhead lifting; Visual acuity and depth perception necessary to operator PIT equipment, and read computer screen or other electronic devices; Working in various temperatures & humidity levels; Working at heights to 30 feet.
