Job Description

Tailwind, a national airport food and beverage company, operates in 41 airports across the country. We are looking to fill our Shift Leader position at the Huntsville airport.

Responsibilities may include:

• Understand completely; all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs set forth by the Tailwind Management Company.
• Train, supervise, and coach the staff
• Work as a member of the team to ensure success in all areas of the restaurant.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe work environment at all times.
• Report to work punctually and assist in the event of an emergency outlined within restaurant standards and all Tailwind policies.
• Ensure that equipment is maintained as outlined in the restaurant safety and preventive maintenance program.
• Treating all employees with professionalism and respect.

Qualifications:

• Adequate communication and understanding of the predominant language(s) of the restaurant’s operating area.
• Capable of working in a standing position for long periods of time (minimum of 8 hours a day).
• Capable of reaching, bending, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Some weekend days required as well as mornings and evenings.

Requirements:

• Must have experience in restaurant management. (1-3 years minimum)
• Strong kitchen and grill experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check to receive an airport badge.
• Must have reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
