About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Legal Assistant/Paralegal with a passion for criminal law to join a team devoted to providing the best legal service possible to our South Florida community. We need someone with the experience and maturity to work closely with the Leadership Team on strategy, policy, problem-solving, and decision-making. If you have worked as a Senior Legal Assistant we want to hear from you! The Senior Legal Assistant’s primary responsibility is to value and honor our clients, work hard like it’s your oxygen, take pride, and have fun while doing it. What You Will Be Doing

• Work closely with the Leadership Team and attorneys in all matters related to case management
• Job knowledge in assigned cases, identifies and understands, legal issues
• Exercising sound judgment in performing duties and solving problems effectively
• Demonstrates technical proficiency to perform job responsibilities
• Shows accuracy in drafting, including clarity and completeness
• Help meet deadlines and contribute time if necessary to meet deadlines
• Manage the calendars of your attorneys and be able to communicate proactively with in-house and overseas staff.

What You Will Bring to The Table

• 3-5 years of related experience
• A passion for criminal defense and helping others
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Superior work ethic and pride in your work product

• A self-starter who is reliable, resourceful and detail-oriented
