Senior Associate Service Engineer


The position will be responsible for communication with global team (EF-IP CONS) as well as providers. Network Design, planning, configuring and setup of services. Capacity planning for network services, ensuring future service demand and cost efficiency. This role would be required to cover the following aspects of the position, WAN, LAN, any connectivity technology necessary, stakeholder engagement, solution approval, order process, coordination between stakeholder and provider, engagement in configuration/activation, documentation and put into operation.


YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES


The primary responsibilities of this role, Senior Associate Service Engineer, are to:


      • Service Development; Support pricing & business case, Forecast the initial volume and Define consumption method
      • Supply Development; Supervise implementation at partner and Validate efficiency measures by partners.
      • Service Operation; Create high level estimates for service requests. (Clarify funding aspect), Support business in identifying services matching demand / hold contact with regions, Operationalize Connectivity Services with Service Management and Functional Infrastructure Services organization and Collaborate with Service Management organization for continued service improvement opportunities.
      • Monitoring of project driven by Service partners / in-house projects with significance; Adherence to agreed standards and Develop yearly plan for end of life hardware managed by Bayer.
      • GAPs E2E analysis

Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree;
  • Experience with network infrastructure (engineering/technical versus operations), have a high competency for connectivity of buildings and network devices;
  • Be aware of partner responsibilities, be able to interact across teams to achieve goals;
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate, interpret analyze data and translate technical information into intelligible and persuasive presentations for a variety of non-technical stakeholders;
  • Ability to work in an interdisciplinary, virtual and agile environment Fluent in English both written and spoken

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information science or equivalent 6 years of IT experience or 10 years of IT experience in lieu of a degree.
