Job Description:
We are currently looking for a full-time Evening Security Officer to join our Security Team!
Part-time or Full-Time Positions available.
As a
Security Officer, you would patrol the interior and perimeter of the Resort and the surrounding property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks, and undesirable conditions. You would respond to Emergencies including, but not limited to, safety hazards, fire alarms, medical emergencies, and threats to life and property. Handle various wildlife calls. Initiates preliminary investigations into incidents. Writes reports and ensures the accuracy of the necessary documentation. Open safes to retrieve guests’ items. Respond to key assists. Provide first aid. Log in lost and found items. Check-in and out Resort guests as needed. Deliver room amenities as needed.
**This shift receives part of the Resort Fee charged to all guest rooms, and has the opportunity to make tips as well.**
Main Gate Duties:
- Greet all arriving visitors with a smile, make eye contact, and speak clearly in a friendly manner.
- Phone service skills must be highly efficient, including Phone answered before the fourth ring; no hold longer than 15 seconds; or in the case of longer holds, call-back offered.
- As a Main Gate host, you must convey a sense of enthusiasm; must listen carefully to guest and internal customer needs.
- Must be able to answer basic questions about the property, will take ownership of simple requests, and not simply refer guests elsewhere.
- Main Gate Hosts will create a sense of recognition by using the guest’s or resident’s name, when known, in a natural and discreet manner.
- The Main Gate Staff is the Resort’s Front Line Ambassadors; any lasting impression the guest develops of the Boulders Resort begins and could potentially end at the Main Gate.
