Position Description:
The Sales Performance Analyst is part of the Sales Effectiveness team within McKesson Medical Surgical. Our team’s mission is to help the Medical-Surgical business unit maintain market leadership. We do this by providing exceptional value to our sales force through the use of sales analytics, tools, technology, and training.
The Sales Performance Analyst will be responsible for reporting and analysis related to our sales teams. This person will create and publish sales reporting based on traditional KPIs (for example, performance to plan, period over period growth, etc.) to all levels of the organization and act as a partner to leadership to establish goals and targets for the sales force. Data formatting, clean up, and governance will also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis on sales performance variability and funnels/forecasts
- Write SQL queries to pull data for reporting
- Build periodic sales reporting and analysis. Publish and/or present these reports to all levels of the McKesson Medical Surgical Organization (e.g. Sales Presidents to Account Executives)
- Run ad hoc reporting
- Partner with leadership to provide actionable intelligence
- Create & maintain documentation of sales reporting processes and SOPs
- Ensure accuracy and alignment of underlying data, including standardization
- Collaborate with the team and IT/BI to automate sales reporting
- Collaborate with the Sales Reporting & Analysis team to QC reporting
- Present sales reporting and insights to Sales Executives within McKesson Medical Surgical
Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
Critical Skills:
- 2+ years of sales analytics, accounting, finance, finance analytics or similar
- 2+ years experience creating periodic reporting and analysis
- 2+ years experience sharing insights with business and leadership
- 1+ year writing SQL statements
- 1+ year building reports/dashboards within PowerBI
- 1+ year building reports within salesforce.com
- Advanced MS Office expertise with Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint
Additional Knowledge & Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical and communications skills
- Able to approach tasks with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines
- Experience with data visualization software/techniques
- Experience working with complex and unstructured data
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps
- Sales reporting experience
- MBA or an equivalent advanced degree
- Data process analysis and process improvement experience
- Able to adjust to rapidly changing priorities
- Healthcare sales analysis preferred but not required
- Skilled multitasker
Education
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- 4-year degree in finance or related field preferred

Our Base Pay Range for this position
$62,500 - $104,100
