We are looking for a variety of Lead Teachers to work with early years education, preschools and daycares in the Houston Metro Area.

Zen Educate is looking for educators who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to children’s lives and their community. Paraprofessionals will support licensed teachers in the classroom and gain invaluable experience in the classroom!

Key Duties:

• Assisting the classroom teacher
• Work with individual and/or small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
• Assist in compiling classroom communications
• Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning
• Maintaining a safe learning environment
• Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the students’ learning experiences and support them as needed

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Degree or GED
• 1-year experience working as a teaching assistant
• First aid & CPR certification

Preferred Requirements: (don’t let these stop you from applying!)

• Associates Degree or higher
• 2+ years experience working as a teaching assistant
• ParaPro Certification or similar
• Past work experience in a school
• Experience working with children with special educational needs

Educator pay will reflect qualifications and experience level
