Nursing Supervisor AM Shift for
Fremont Hospital! In support of the mission, vision and values of Fremont Hospital, the
Nursing Supervisor (AM Shift, 7:00AM – 3:30PM) assumes full range operational responsibility for assigned units and shifts. The Nursing Supervisor assignment includes responsibility for day-to-day clinical operations for the nursing department, and for facility operations when on duty outside regular business hours. While no direct supervisory or managerial responsibilities are assumed, the incumbent is responsible for operational functions of the hospital after hours and notifies appropriate department directors and managers to engage problem solving and follow up. The Nursing Supervisor directs efficient flow of patient care. The supervisor is responsible for activation and interim direction during hospital emergencies, including activation of the Incident Command Center, when necessary. Incumbent supports departmental and hospital wide data collection.
Fremont Hospital is a fully accredited, 148-bed private inpatient psychiatric hospital providing quality care for children through adults. The facility provides a full assortment of care which includes assessments, inpatient psychiatric hospitalization, partial-hospitalization, intensive outpatient psychiatric treatment as well as chemical dependency outpatient care.

Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum of Associate of Science degree in nursing, from an accredited program is required.
- Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in an acute hospital setting; preferably in a psychiatric facility. At least six months of charge nurse or managerial experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the State Board of Nursing.
- Additional Requirements: CPR with AED (CPR/AED) certification must be current and presented to Human Resources upon hire. You must successfully complete the Fremont Hospital’s non- violent Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training course within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting with preventative intervention measures. You may be required to work overtime and flexible hours. The Nursing Supervisor must have thorough knowledge of departmental and hospital policies and procedures including clinical policies, operations policies, infection control policies, and Fremont Hospital Disaster Plan, with ability to open and manage the Incident Command Center until the hospital Commander arrives.
Salary: Starting from $58.50 to $63.00 an hour
