Job Details

MUST HAVE 2-year degree in mechatronics, instrumentation or 5+ years of equivalent experience

HOURS: Working 4/10’s. Monday thru Thursday from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am (2nd shift). Starting off, you will train on the day shift for 3-6 weeks depending on skill level. The day shift is 4/10’s. Monday thru Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:00 pm. Optional OT every Friday!

GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Maintenance – Electronic position is critical in the maintenance and/or repair of equipment/machines used for the manufacturing of quality products that meet customer requirements. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for performing activities outlined below:

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

• Examine machines and equipment to diagnose trouble, dismantle machines, replace defective parts and reassemble machines.

o Diagnose electronic and electrical equipment failures
o Repair components and other equipment related to N/C controlled machines, peripheral equipment and other electronic systems.

• Produce replacement parts and new parts necessary to repair and maintain all mechanical equipment

o Set-up and operate machine tools to make replacement parts

• Perform machine PM’s (preventive maintenance)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Preferred background in diagnosing and repairing equipment related to N/C controlled machines, peripheral equipment and other electronic systems.
• High degree of skill required in scraping of ways and bearings and fitting of parts
