Responsibilities:
Expertise in MODAPTS time and motion studies
Identify Countermeasures / Process improvements for eliminating NVA activities
Perform Line Balancing Studies using Yamazumi charts
Should have experience working in BIW - Automotive robot weld lines
Create Current State VSM and find out capacities of each cell
Analyse data collected from shop floor and perform capacity calculation and cell utilization
Analse bottleneck in the process, understand current challanges and projects in place to improve performance
Capture Process Videos for all Product Variants
Data collection for time study and Perform VA / NVA / RNVA analysis
Create / Update VSM for current state and chart out future state VSM
Identify Countermeasures / Process improvements for eliminating NVA activities
Perform Line balancing studies using Yamazumi charts
Update work instructions with the changes and transfer to latest templates
Material and internal supply logistics study and identify wastes in current process
Propose process improvements to reduce the indirect labour cost
Support in implementing the Process improvements
Co-ordinate with offshore team for all the above mentioned activities
