Job Description

We are Nicasa, a short term rental management company based in Seattle, currently managing 23 homes. We are looking to expand our growing team and hiring a full time Housekeeping & Operations Staff (W2 role).

What you’ll do

Housekeeping:

  • Professionally clean and maintain Nicasa properties using cleaning procedures and products in conformance with prescribed company standards
  • Create a welcoming environment for our guests and owners by ensuring homes are clean and cared for
  • Perform inspections of cleans completed by Housekeepers. Touch-up cleans as needed
  • Identify and note any damages to homes. Create maintenance tasks as necessary
  • Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with team members and management team
  • Correspond on a regular basis with your local management team and team members
  • Collect and remove trash and debris
  • Replenish consumable items such as soaps and paper products
  • Meet and maintain required Housekeeping metrics

Operations

  • Work with our other team members to set up new Nicasa properties in accordance with Nicasa standards
  • Run preventive checks of homes per Nicasa standards
  • Be available and willing to assist your colleagues and management team when necessary in ad-hoc tasks
  • Attend all mandatory individual and team meetings
  • Other responsibilities as assigned - because every day looks different

Eligibility Criteria

  • Legally authorized to work in the US
  • Must have experience working as a hotel or short term rental housekeeper.
  • Able to work 5 days/week, 8 hour shifts, Thursday-Monday, 11 AM - 7.30 PM (includes 30 min break)
  • Overtime and on-call (if any) at 2X of base hourly rate
  • Attention to detail - ensuring homes are thoroughly cleaned and checking every surface
  • Are able to navigate the city successfully and are comfortable commuting and working within our service area - within 10 miles of 98122 (mainly in Queen Anne, Central, Capitol Hill, Ballard, Queen Anne, and Bellevue)
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and boosted
  • Able to lift a 35lb cleaning bag and a 15lb vacuum and are comfortable bending, stretching, climbing stairs and performing repetitive motions
  • Have a reliable car, car insurance and a valid driver's license (we provide gas allowance)
  • Have an updated smart phone to check your schedule and communicate

Benefits:

  • Base pay: $55,000/year
  • Bonus: Up to 20% of base pay, depending on company performance (current employees received 18%-19% bonus over the last 6 quarters)
