The Head Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, inventory management, and ensuring that the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained in the kitchen. Responsibilities:

• Manage the kitchen staff and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Develop menus and recipes that are creative, cost effective, and meet customer expectations.
• Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper food preparation techniques.
• Order food supplies as needed.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $66,555.00 - $71,220.00 per year

Experience level:

• 5 years

Pay rate:

• Hourly pay
• Yearly pay

Shift:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Performance bonus

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
• Weekends only

Work setting:

• Casual dining restaurant

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Waretown, NJ 08758: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Culinary experience: 4 years (Preferred)
• Cooking: 5 years (Preferred)
