Job Description

EMM-TRACE is looking to add an Architectural & Misc Metals Estimator to our team in bid estimating for the commercial construction industry. Estimating of our product would include materials takeoffs, adding shop labor and detailing labor estimates together, and quoting materials required on a job base. Willing to train on the job depending on experience.

Minimum Requirements:

• at least 1 or more years experience in Metal Mork
• Knowledge of estimating and design processes, On-Screen Takeoff and Microsoft Programs.
• Display a good understanding of commercial construction costs and schedules

Ideal candidate would possess the following skills:

• Organization skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written
• Ability to explain construction details through conversation and email
• Ability to effectively handle multiple deadlines in a team-driven environment
• Ability to interact efficiently with all levels of the organization, and external contacts
• Excellent follow-up skills

Responsibilities could include, but not limited to:

• Bid solicitation and subcontractor communication
• Have a thorough understanding of the scope for specific trades
• Double check all critical work deliverables to minimize mistakes
• Prioritize daily tasks to be proactive in time management
• Provide general back up support for all other positions, as needed

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

• Monday to Friday

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
