Job Description

Position: Content Writer/ Business Writer

Location: Houston, TX 77010 (HYBRID)

Pay Rate: $38-40/hr.

Duration: 6+ contract (100% Extension)

Business Writer, Legal Communications, Business Communications, Business Writing, Marketing and Communications Specialist, Marketing and Communication Analyst, Marketing and Communications Manager, Content Manager, Copywriting, Graphic Design, Copywriter, Content Writer, Conceptual Writer, Editor, Editing, Marketing Content Writer, Marketing Content Management.

Required Skills

• Time management, attention to high priority deadlines
• Excellent writing and editing with an emphasis on business and legal communications.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent, multi-faceted projects through an entire project lifecycle.
• Ability to prepare and present accurate information.
• Proficiency in Adobe FrameMaker
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (particularly Teams, Word, Excel and SharePoint)
• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Skills

• Ability to lead cross-functional teams to a consensus and manage groups without direct authority.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Candidates must have the ability to use Adobe FrameMaker, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Teams and Excel, and SharePoint in that order of priority. They should be able to step in and pick up work in progress with appropriate guidance and support from the team.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
